Web is a dance project composed by Pierluigi Giombini. He therefore had been introduced at an early age to the classics and progressed to study piano and composition at the conservatory. While he was studying the classics he also listened to 70's progressive rock groups. Wendy Carlos' "Switched on bach" records inspired him to study and create the Synth sounds that he later used on his hit records in the '80s. He wrote, arranged and produced international successes such as "I like Chopin" for GAZEBO, "Dolce vita" for RYAN PARIS, "Lovin' times" for WEB. He, himself, composes, writes, arranges, plays the keyboard, programmes and last but not least produces his songs. His compositions can vary from rock to techno-dance, from experimental music to music for films, video, etc.
After 15 years of musical inactivity, with the exception of ECHO BASS, he felt the need to create something for the trance music scene. As a result of this desire the WEB project was born. For this project every song uses a different vocalist, depending on the melody. The arrangement on the other hand uses techno sounds along with the romantic approach to composition that he loves. The singer is Melissa Bell.
